Horizons is offering 7 new lots at Golden Buddha Beach for sale. Shown
on the Home Page Site Plan, these lots are at the southern end of
the property, where it is the most peaceful. Lots have large trees
and foliage, which has been selectively cleared to provide ocean views

Lots
are between 1450 and 1600 square meters in size (2/5 acre). The
beach lots, at 29 x 50 meters, have the widest beach frontage on
the property. Second row lots are within 60 meters of the sea.
Golden Buddha,
known locally as Goh Phra Thong, is a large but little known
island two hours up the coast from Phuket. The nearest airport
is Ranong, with daily flights of 1: 10 hours duration from Bangkok,
but it is also accessible to Phuket and Suratani airports. |

and vacation home development. In the mid-80s, we discovered and
developed a spectacular beach set against 500-foot limestone cliffs.
Not long afterward Railei Beach in Krabi became the most popular
new destination in Thailand and prices went up by twenty times.
The company also operates a jungle lodge at Khao Soke National Park
and Golden Buddha Beach.

The community owns 1 kilometer of beach front on a narrow isthmus
with the Andaman Sea on one side and a tranquil bay on the other.
An isolated site on an island, Golden Buddha
is all about preserving a semi-wild habitat and living in harmony
with it. Among the residents are flocks of hornbills
and macaque monkeys, and the beach is a nesting place for the giant
sea turtles. There is a breezy clubhouse on the point - with views
of two separate beaches - serving Thai and Western food. All lots
are provided with household water supply and electricity, which is
generated during evening hours or on request.
Should you wish
to build a house, the company will engage a quality builder and architect
for you. Houses are made of tropical hardwood and natural materials,
with wide verandahs and large bathrooms partly open to the sea and

click here. The cost of a 2-bedroom/2 bathroom is currently between
1 - 3 million baht ($25,000 -$75,000) depending on the size, design,
and standard of construction desired.

and hikes through pristine rainforest. The interior of the island
is a flat savannah with fresh water ponds and abundant bird life.
Yoga retreats are held several times a year, and Thai massage is available.
There are several volunteer conservation projects, including sea turtle,
mangrove, and reptile projects. |
